The Werbrich’s Way
While every project is different, the way they are approached and executed is very similar. It is this consistency that helps us install some the most unique and exciting landscapes in the Tri-State for people who become part of the Werbrich’s family for life. Our process is as follows:
Little did you know but you have already started the first step of the process by coming up with your own ideas or concepts of what areas of your landscaping you want to change. There are many ways to keep track of these ideas and notes. It can be as simple as picture cut outs from magazines in a folder or binder. Or you could use websites like Pinterest or Houzz which can be very helpful. Hopefully you have taken a look through our on line image gallery as well @ werbrichslandscaping.com or https://www.facebook.com/Werbrichs.
When you are ready give us a call to schedule a free in home consultation with one of our project consultants. Once your meeting is set you will then receive a packet of information to read over before your meeting. This packet will contain information about the company, the consultant that will be visiting with you, projects completed in your area and much, much more. Please take a few minutes to review this information before your meeting.
During your consultation we will walk your property and review your ideas for you landscape as well as offer any of ours. We will finish up our consultation with a kitchen table review of our discussions, an overview of how Werbrich’s Landscaping operates, establish a realistic budget range for your project based on similar projects, and quote you the deposit amount needed to move forward into the design phase. In some cases where a design may not be needed a date for a written proposal or budgetary ballpark proposal may be provided. Once your deposit is received you will then move on to meet your designer.
In this phase of the project you will be connected with your designer at another in home meeting. Here we will review your ideas again and along with the designer’s ideas. At this meeting all site measurements, elevations, pictures and other essential information prevalent to the design will be gathered. In the next 2-3 weeks your plans will be drawn up and your project consultant will begin to start coming up with a detailed estimate of the work to be completed. Your consultant will work hand in hand with the designer to keep the design ideas within the realm of your budget.
Presentation/Make it Final
After your plan is completed your design and accompanying written estimate covering the scope of work will be presented. This meeting will also include a tentative start date and schedule of work if necessary, payment plans, and any warranty/care information that will be needed. At this meeting is when we like to make everything official and sign the contract covering the scope of work to get your projected slated on our schedule and move on to any revisions or changes that may be needed as well as material selections.
Once you have officially decided to move forward with Werbrich’s Landscaping a lot will happen leading up to the point where ground is broken on your project. There will be materials to finalize, small design changes to finalize, job site meetings with project manager, foreman, homeowner and any sub-contractors.
During the Project
After breaking ground on your project your project manager and foreman will be your main point of contact during the day to day operations. However at any point during the project your consultant and designer are available as well. Your project manager will help you with any questions you may have during the process as well as ensure a thorough completion of the project by all parties involved. Your site will be kept clean at the end of every day and extensively cleaned at project completion. Upon completion of your project a final walk through with the project manager and foreman is done to ensure that all work is completed in a manner that exceeds your satisfaction.
A majority of our business comes from repeat and referral customers. The most helpful form of marketing for us comes from word-of-mouth from people like you. A few weeks after your project you will receive a packet in the mail asking you to answer a few questions and fill out some reviews. It is very helpful for us to have surveys, reviews etc. done to help us gain any new potential customers as well as keep those exiting ones coming back. If you refer a customer that ends up using Werbrich’s Landscaping you will receive a gift certificate to your choice of a Jeff Ruby’s Restaurant or the Montgomery Inn.
Also, the winter following your project your consultant will follow up with you about any questions or concerns you may have about your landscape as well as touch base with you regarding any future projects you may have mind.
